Local Lifestyle

Harvest was established with the goal of creating a close-knit community appreciative of North Texas’ wide open spaces. Their community farm, overseen by their full-time farmer, is the centerpiece of their neighborhood and has made great strides to connect locals with their food while supporting North Texas businesses and giving back to the community. Since its establishment in 2014, Harvest has donated over 100,000 meals to the North Texas Food Bank.

Dining, Entertainment, and Shopping

One of the best things about this highly amenitized neighborhood is the sheer number of on-site and adjacent businesses residents enjoy easy access to. However, when a day out of the neighborhood is necessary, the nearby Interstate leads to the whole of the Dallas-Fort Worth metropolitan area and its endless amount of entertainment options.

Situated in the historic 142-year-old Faught home, Farmhouse Coffee and Treasures is Harvest’s communal coffee house run by a lovely group of locals with deep roots in their faith. In addition to coffee, baked goods, and other breakfast favorites, Farmhouse also sells a variety of trinkets, knick-knacks, and home decor in the most adorable atmosphere.

Near the communal farm, residents can enjoy the Harvest Fun Fields or Meadows Pool House. These wide-open green spaces give community members the chance to get out and enjoy sporty activities and fresh air with friends and loved ones. The Red Barn is another communal area for fun in the sun with basketball hoops, other games, and covered seating areas.

Just south of the community, Dallas-Fort Worth is one of the nation’s most sprawling metropolitan areas with residents from all over the world. Thousands of locally-owned shops are sprinkled across the metroplex ensuring ample shopping adventures any day of the year.

Things To Do

This perfectly thought-out masterplan community has been designed with residents in mind. It’s quite frankly not necessary to leave the community for exercise, social meet-ups, or even concerts. Within the neighborhood, residents enjoy easy access to a community gym, yoga lawn, and Central Park’s 1.5 mile-long trail. Throughout the year, The Hall opens its 5,000 square foot doors for community happy hours, classes, and other activities. Seasonal concerts are also held on the event lawn space, with food trucks from the DFW area.
