Welcome to Lantana
Located perfectly in the center of the Interstate 35 East/West triangle, Lantana is an upscale master plan community of just under 7,000 residents. Inspired by the hills and landscaping commonly found in Central Texas, Lantana is one of Dallas-Fort Worth’s top-selling communities and has won more awards than any other community in the region. Residents of this 1,780-acre community enjoy neighborhood events, hike and bike trails, state-of-the-art fitness facilities, and golf.
Lantana’s award-winning lineup of builders includes Lennar, Newport Homebuilders, Highland Homes, and Coventry, all of which offer a plethora of floor plans, finish-outs, and unique upgrade options. Lantana is home to three elementary schools and one middle school within Denton ISD inside the neighborhood. This, combined with endless amenities inside and just beyond community walls has made Lantana one of North Texas’ undisputed best communities.

Local Lifestyle
Lantana residents generally tend to lead an active lifestyle. Lantana Golf Club is a popular, close-by way to spend free time out of the office. Inspired by the sprawling Texas Hill Country, the 18-hole championship course was designed by a world-renowned team and has been the home of the Byron Nelson Championship Pre-Qualifying Tournament for the past several years. In addition to golf, the club also includes a fully-equipped fitness center and restaurant with a full-service bar overlooking the course and lake.
Dining, Entertainment, and Shopping
The Shops at Highland Village are less than five miles away from Lantana and feature over 50 stores, a large Barnes & Noble bookstore, dining options, and an AMC movie theater. This bustling outdoor gathering place is one of DFW’s most popular gathering places.
These 50 unique shops carry a variety of apparel, accessories, home decor, cosmetics, and more. Some widely recognized brands include Kendra Scott, Banana Republic, and Buff City Soap. Dining options consist of several members of popular Texas restaurant groups like Gloria’s Latin Cuisine, Torchy’s Tacos, and Mi Cocina, one of Dallas’ favorite Mexican restaurants. The best way to end a long day spent strolling the streets would be catching a movie at the AMC movie theater, featuring IMAX’s unsurpassed picture quality and surround sound.
Outside of Highland Village and closer to home, Marty B’s is a top choice for authentic Tex-Mex dinners. Tamales, tacos, and queso pair well with a generous drink menu featuring Texas classics like Mexican martinis, ranch water, and spicy margaritas. The traditional Texas sheet cake is one of the best desserts in town!
Things To Do
Lantana is rich with amenities, all located inside community walls, designed to bring neighbors together. There are five pools located across the neighborhood, ensuring easily accessible fun in the sun in those warmer summer months. An extensive network of hike and bike trails covers 300 acres of permanently protected greenbelts. Since Lantana’s construction began, over 10,000 trees have been planted throughout the neighborhood to further preserve the natural beauty of the area. Against the backdrop of these newly planted trees, children can play at one of the neighborhood’s several parks or splash pads. Other outdoor recreation includes five tennis courts, and a full-size basketball court.
